I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my Baccalaureate in Behavioral Health at Metropolitan State College in Colorado and obtained by Baccalaureate in Nursing at Regis University in Colorado. After many years of case management in the home, insurance and hospital seeing I decided to pursue my Masters in Nursing from Walden University in Minnesota with a specialty in Family Medicine.

I am a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I have worked in my community as a nurse practitioner for 8 years providing enhanced care to the underserved and uninsured. Through my practice, I have learned the importance of looking at the patient from a holistic approach, that not only addresses disease, but also the factors that contribute to disease including diet, exercise, mental health and lifestyle. I have learned people don’t fit in a “box” and it is important to provide individualized care that is collaborative and includes the patient, addressing their needs and concerns.

I have been married for 23 years and have 6 children, 9 grandchildren and “Kuro” my fur baby. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, travel and volunteering in the community. I am determined to educate people about their health and to help people live healthier and happier as I firmly believe it is important to “love how you live and live how you love!” -Dolomite
